Holy Cross International College Holds 2024 Annual Parent-Teacher Association Meeting

Holy Cross International College has held its 2024 Annual Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). The meeting took place on February 17 on the school campus.

During the meeting, parents and the school administration acknowledged the outstanding results achieved by the student body in the previous year’s end-of-year academic examinations.

While commendations were shared, concerns were also raised regarding instances of indiscipline within the institution. However, both parents and teachers expressed gratitude towards the administration for its proactive efforts in addressing and mitigating such issues.

Furthermore, parents expressed appreciation for the school’s collaboration in establishing a football academy. This initiative is seen as a significant step towards enhancing the students’ exposure to the global community and preparing them for future challenges.

Both parties also agreed to proceed with two projects within the school: installing video surveillance cameras on the school campus and acquiring solar street lights to enhance security

During the meeting, it was mutually agreed upon that scheduling the next PTA meeting for mid-October would be beneficial.

Historically, attendance at these meetings has been below 50%, and it was noted that many parents residing abroad tend to be present during the September/October period.

Therefore, holding the meeting in October would likely encourage greater participation and engagement from the parent community.
