We Started Focusing On Our Studies Right From The First Day
Pauline Egbe, a form five student at Holy Cross International College, HCIC Yaounde has indicated that they started focusing on their studies immediately they came back for the 2021/2022 Academic Year.
Talking to this reporter in the school campus on a week after school resumption, Pauline said, “we began the school year on a good footing. Right from the first day, we started focusing on our studies. We had a lot of assignments to cover up and during our free periods, we do group studies and answer past GCE questions.”
She added that “Studies are going on well like I said just that we have had little noise from the juniors but we always control them. We make sure, we split, go and study in their class every evening to maintain the silence.”
For this academic year, Pauline Egbe says, “My ambitions are to make sure that I have 11 A Grades at the GEC Ordinary Level, study hard, don’t miss any class and make sure I follow the junior’s ones so they can follow their own goals.”
“Students should not follow any person just because they think they are in school. You have to understand that, you came to this school alone and you shall leave alone meaning that, each and everyone should focus on their bookwork first before anything.”
“Don’t do anything that will lead you into trouble. Follow the school rules and regulations of the school even though I know it will be challenging but you must try your best and do it.”
