Put More Emphasis On Discipline To Make HCIC A Safe Heaven – Ngu Emmanuel
The Proprietor of Holy Cross International College, HCIC Yaounde, Buban Ngu Emmanuel has called on the school administration and the staff to make the institution, a safe haven for students, staff, and all working there.
Buban Ngu Emmanuel made the statement on August 25 in Yaounde while opening a one-day seminar that brought together the school administration and staff of the institution.
According to the Proprietor of the college, the school can only be safe if discipline, one of the major areas of success can be enforced.
“When you come to discipline, we had a lot of problems with a number of cases we registered which shows that we should put more emphasis on how to make that school a safe haven for all the students, staff, and all those working there.”
“As you all know, discipline is a very important reason why we have to enforce it. Discipline is one of the major areas of our success. Many parents believe in us because they know we are very disciplined and capable of following up on our decisions,” he said.
Besides the shortcomings experienced in the discipline sector, Buban Ngu Emmanuel praised the staff for their tremendous work in attaining academic excellence. He, however, maintained that apart from obtaining 100 percent in official examinations, students should be built-in morals, discipline, and other virtues that will better help them to integrate into society.
“Our objective is not only to have 100 percent without building the students. We have to build them by giving them moral rectitude which includes disciplines and others. We should also give them the opportunity to develop the culture of success in everything,” he pointed out.
