Holy Cross International College, HCIC Yaounde has graduated its ninth batch of students for the academic year 2020/2021.
The graduation ceremony took place on May 29, 2021, on the school campus. HCIC college is situated in Nkaobang along the Yaounde – Bertoau highway.
Speaking during the ceremony, the officiating Priest in the first part of the program invited the graduating students to let the love of Jesus Christ flow in them.
While indicating that it is a day of joy and thanksgiving as well as a day to give God the honour, the man of God urged students to seek God’s wisdom.
“The wisdom of God is Jesus Christ. God is the source of all wisdom. Wisdom gives mission and helps you to understand life, there I urge you to follow the ways of God,” man of God said.
He added that “The word of God is life. As you move out to another level, be a light to the world. Holy Cross International has prepared you to and we are sure that you will be made. Take the cross and move forward. Be a long-life learner. Learning never ends. Always remember what you have learned in school.”
The Proprietor of the college used the opportunity to thank the administration. Urging the graduating students to keep the flag of the school wherever they go, the proprietor called on the entire student body to instill the spirit of cooperation for greater things to be achieved.
To the Principal, she said, “At Holy Cross, We are each other’s keeper and as you move out, remain the good students that you have been. No administration or staff will run behind with a whip but used the skills you have acquired to bring in positive change.”
